For kneading, there's a strong dough hook, and for blending, there's an attachment that can be used in the accompanying 2-cup container (or any container) for small jobs like salad dressings. For chopping, the power unit attaches to another container with its own blades to make quick work of nuts, onions, hard cheeses, herbs, garlic, and meats.
