I purchased my 1st 42" Outdoor Chimenea several years ago and we use it faithfully (even when it isn't cold enough for a fire). The GREATEST advantage of this Chimenea over other ones is that it is CAST IRON!!! I had the clay ones and they held up for a few years, but I build nice hot fires and the clay ones could not hold up. Especially if it came a rain shower while it was still hot, this slowly caused the Chimenea to crack and deteriorate. After getting the Cast Iron Chimenea, we can spend endless evenings and even entire weekends sitting around a pleasing fire on the patio. With the expanded metal door, I feel comfort walking off and leaving it burning. It also has a nice heavy metal lid/cap to place on top of the chimney to prevent rain water from putting out you fire. We have loved using ours so much, we just purchased another one from Amazon.com for my son & his wife. They too really enjoy sitting around a cozy fire.
