Rating : - these really work! i was so happy to find these online. i lived in Guatemala for a couple years, and got really spoild using these resin-rich sticks (available in any market there since a larg percentage of people in that country still heat their homes and cook using open wood fire) to start any type of fire. they are better than any lighter fluid you can find and they smell AMAZING (of pine) as opposed to toxic, and they won't contaminate your food! personal tip that isn't mentioned on the package: they work even better if you can splinter them into fine strips with a knife. you might have to smash one stick with a hammer to do that since i found that the ones in my package came in thick wedges.
