I was much disappointed in this book. It consists of nothing but photos of existing paver work...residential patios and walkways, as well as commercial and public streets, boulevards, building entrances, etc). This book is not a "how-to" or self-help guide, so if that's what you're looking for then look elsewhere.
The residential photos were somewhat repetitious...nice pictures, but many of the patterns were similar to each other.
The commercial and public stuff, while intriguing, was much too grand for me. (I'm not a professional landscaper or developer so there's no way I'd try to lay a quarter-acre of pavers for a street circle, for instance).
The photos are nice, but that's all this book is...just photos. Even for someone looking for existing paver work just to get some ideas, there aren't that many here applicable to what an individual would attempt looking to improve is his home's appeal.
