Very sharp. A bit light but then again it is only stamped. Before I purchased this knife, I did some research and found that Forschner knives indeed match the sharpness and longevity of other fancy forged knives. And it seems to show so far. Sure, forged knives are heavy and extremely sharp and strong. But if you cannot afford a $500 piece of knife then you should go for this as a second choice.
