By emitting a low-frequency, ultrasonic sound, this lightweight, portable light repels mosquitoes while simultaneously illuminating a 20-foot-square area around an outdoor barbecue grill or picnic table. To ward off mosquitoes, switch the device to either of three levels of ultrasonic sounds, which repel female mosquitoes (the biters) by imitating their natural enemies. (The sound will not harm pets or children.) For illumination the light comes with a replaceable, high-intensity bulb. The light's head can be adjusted up and down, and the adjustable arm holding the light extends to 16 inches and locks in place at any chosen height and angle with the twist of a knob. For storage, the arm folds flat, creating a profile for the device of a mere 9-1/2 inches wide, 3-1/2 inches high, and 3 inches deep. The light attaches to a grill with a stainless-steel clip, which can be removed for the light to sit flat on a table.
